In Memoriam: Elizabeth Taylor, I Will Always Love White Diamonds

Of course everyone should remember Liz Taylor for things like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Cleopatra, BUtterfield 8, etc. Then there was her activism for HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and research.

On the other hand of memory lane, there were also her seven husbands of eight marriages, the marriage rumors of last year, and—of course—her advertising opus: the unforgettable, iconic commercial of my childhood, White Diamonds. I repost it here for your viewing pleasure.

In the near future, I plan to battle it through all 243 minutes of Cleopatra, which has been on my Netflix queue for about two years.
